Law Of Attraction, Meditation and Healing

Law Of Attraction, Meditation And Healing

Law on attraction promotes the use of meditation as an important tool to master and when you are dealing with your health, it is so important to find ways that will help to enhance your wellbeing and healing. Certainly as a Naturopath I incorporate meditation into treatment regimes for the many health-related benefits it may bring. In this article I am not going to explain how to meditate, or to give you a spelt out guided meditation script – you can easily find these. I want to share with you some tips and fine tuning so that when you do meditate you are able to maximize your experience of LOA with a focus on healing.

Finding Techniques

In terms of how to meditate, I do want to say just one thing and that is to remember that there are many different ways to still the mind. Yes, most of my practice is sitting down with eyes closed and a quiet place. But doing yoga, tai qi, taking a quiet walk along in the mountains can all be forms of meditation. It’s about becoming still and allowing your inner knowledge and wisdom do come forth. It’s finding balance and equanimity to use a vipassana term!

I suggest that you try various techniques and find something that suits you. When I was at Naturopathic college, my colleagues and I would often go up the mountains and do 10 day Vipassana Meditation retreats as taught by the late S.N. Goenka. These days I spend about 20 minutes a day meditating using some of the techniques I have learnt but modifying things a little. It is this tweaking that can make a big difference. Vipassana Meditation

So relaxation is an essential part of any meditation and law of attraction and it is important to quiet the mind as much as you can. Here are my 4 top tips for fine tuning your meditation when using LOA principles for health and healing. Try to incorporate these ideas below, as is appropriate, and see if it can enhance your experience.

1. Deeper In-site Into The Future You

I’ve talked about goal setting and visualizations in other articles and meditation offers the perfect receptive frame of mind to be able to allow your images, goals and desires to become more real for you and integrated into your day-to-day thinking and feeling. So while meditating, incorporate your goal setting and vision boards etc. and help to consolidate your intentions. Even add Affirmations to your sessions. Check out my article: visualizations

2. Call In All Your Senses

Using all your senses – seeing, feeling, smelling and hearing to deepen your experience and help make your intensions more real. Obviously we all have some senses that dominate so play to those strengths. If you are auditory dominant, then include this into your meditations. But then try to add the others as well. Gradually build up a picture in your mind that become more and more real. I love how the hypnotist Paul Mckenna incorporates this approach into his techniques.

3. Pleasant Sensations

Another technique I love to use is focusing on any pleasant sensations in the body any almost embellishing those. When stilling the mind, some people, for example may feel tingling through their body. I would focus on that – enjoy and appreciate that. Allow the sensations to expand and grow. Personally, I find this is one way to tune into a deeper part of me and my being. It allows my resistance and inhibitions to reduce and an openness or stillness to emerge.

4. Acceptance Is The First Step Of Healing

There are times that we need to simply accept our current state of health for what it is. This is perhaps the firs step of finding true wellbeing and taking the first step towards healing. This certainly doesn’t mean that things aren’t going to change, but in order to move forward we do need to accept the here and now. So during your meditation focus on the quality of acceptance. Just allow you to be you. It is what it is. This is not a resignation by any means but an acknowledgment of what is.

Just start! Even if it is a few minutes a day start from there and build up your meditation practice, it is such a n important step on your law of attraction journey when you are on the path of healing.

Hi, It’s Andrew Collishaw here and I’ve been practicing Naturopathic & Homoeopathic medicine for 30 years’ here in Australia and over this time I have come to see just how important out mindset is when it comes to health and healing. Now we can use natural medicines to treat someone and it can facilitate healing. But if we can add to that a positive mindset (to put is very simply) then that can make a massive difference. Now mindset is not really law of attraction, but is part of it.
